“Positives - Lots cheaper than the alternatives and it works; long wheel straps much better the short ones on my Thule rack and permit more left / right flexibility; design with uprights that mean you don't need to feed support bars through frames good and means if the rack is empty I can open the boot on my estate car without tilting the rack
Negatives - Instructions completely hopeless re what to do with the clamping leaver (& video not much better); arrived with a bulb that was defective so that hadn't been tested prior to shipment; taking it on and off the car definitely a paff compared to my Thule rack; to load with four road bikes we had to remove pedals and some drinks cages, and twist 2 headsets - that might be beyond some people and definitely adds to the hassle (in fairness my 3 bike Thule rack requires one headset to be twisted)”
“It's not really a 4 bike rack. The 3rd and 4th row bikes can't exceed 20kg so you can only carry 2 standard bikes and 2 plastic baby bikes, or just a 3rd standard bike. It's great other than that, but the 'that' is critical when you've got 4 standard bikes in the family.”
