Super stable and everything is solidly built, should last for years. You can pretty much push your E-bike onto the rails, negating the need to lift.
I did need to purchase the longer framhloder straps to accomodate the large/fat frame of my [Giant] E-bike and - for the price - Atera should really include these with the rack, after all many E-bikes share the same design these days.”
“Great tow hook ounted rack. Will allow the tailgate on a VW van to fully open when loaded with two bikes. To start with the straps and ratchets are a bit stiff but after a little practice, it is super eaasy to load. Highly recommended.”
“I bought this carrier as it tilts enough for me to use with my VW California tailgate. I use it for road and gravel bikes. It’s robust and well made. It’s also VERY heavy and overly so for the carbon bikes I put on it. The straps and arms are harder to use than on my old Atera Strada model but they may ease up with time. There are twist lock parts on the arms which are very hard to operate.”
