“Thought this would be a good step up from some old thule basic cycle carriers. Look great, but several areas not happy with. First, the wheel straps are badly positioned or angled, as in most cases the straps fouls the actual bracket when coming though. Whilst this can can be overcome by bending it out of the way whilst tightening it, it makes it fiddly. Secondly the bike clamp should be super easy, just twist push into place, then twist to tighten till it clicks. This hardly ever seems to work properly, and is concerning as you can think it is tight, but on checking the clamp can simply push back open. Repeating often solves the problem, but again fiddly when you have bikes on top of the car. Lastly, the lock clamps securing the carrier to the roof rack grind when locking and unlocking. I found the only way to reduce this is to fasten it first, and undo it last. Overall not the upgrade I was hoping for, and surprised given the apparent quality of the item. Would not recommend”
