“As roof bars I would recommend. Stylish, aero and quieter than cheap alternatives. BUT! They are still noisy, especially with a bike carrier mounted, and combined with that carrier (568) reduces fuel economy by 5mpg+ If you only fit and use them once a year for the family holiday they’re really good. But as someone who rides a few times a week and would need to fit them permanently, I’m not keen. Having spent £500 I’m now going to get a decent tailored boot liner and put my bikes in the car. Expensive mistake for me.”
