Keeping the Tarn both lightweight and durable is its ripstop fabric. While the fabric’s stretchy properties offer increased freedom of movement, its tough fibres greatly enhance the shirt’s resistance against tearing. On sunny days, when hiking through exposed landscapes, the Tarn’s UPF 40+ Sun Protection technology blocks harmful UV rays from entering the skin, while a dedicated sun collar offers additional protection for your neck against these rays. The shirt features 2 front pockets, 1 drop-in pocket and 1 secure zipped pocket, that each offers a hang loop. Individually, each of these loops can be used to secure your essentials or valuables, while they can be used together to hang the Tarn for drying overnight.
From low-level walks to multi-day treks, the Tarn helps you make the most of your time exploring the outdoors. While the shirt is at its best when worn with walking trousers and a day pack, it can also be layered with lightweight jackets, gilets, or fleeces on cooler days.
