From sun-scorched valleys to tropical humid forests, the Women’s Pioneer Trousers give you complete freedom of movement and Dynamic Moisture Control (DMC) keeps you comfortable even on the hottest of days. Made using an advanced blend of strong Polyamide and stretchy Elastane, the Pioneer Trousers will offer you comfort and durability wherever your journey takes you.
Insect Shield® technology provides a long-lasting and effective defence against biting insects. This is because the garments are coated in a permethrin-based treatment which is invisible, odourless and causes insects to have a ‘hot foot’ reaction and fly away before they can bite.
These trousers are ready to take you on your next adventure, UPF40+ Sun protection* provides protection against harmful UV rays whilst DMC, a permanent, wicking treatment can rapidly spread moisture, such as sweat, over a wide surface area of the fabric. Due to this, the garment is able to dry quickly so you stay comfortable for longer no matter your activity.
The Women’s Pioneer Trousers feature an adjustable and removable bel with two large mesh-lined hand pockets. Whilst there are three external zipped pockets for holding your important valuables safely and a concealed tri ring on the inside of the left-hand pocket that allows for easy reach to your keys.
*A Note on Sun Protection
All Rohan garments which carry our sun protection icon, have been tested in accordance with recognised international standards for ultraviolet radiation protection. As a guide to the level of protection offered to covered areas, garments are awarded a rating of UPF40+. Protection may be significantly reduced with extended wear or if the garment is stretched or wet; the reduction of associated health risks will vary with other factors such as skin type or individual medical history.
Insect Shield® Note
Insect Shield® technology converts clothing into convenient, comfortable and effective protection against biting insects. Each Insect Shield® labelled garment is treated with Permethrin, an invisible an odourless ingredient which protects against insects such as mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers and midges. The treatment is so tightly bonded to the fabric fibres that it retains effectiveness through the expected life of the product – well beyond the limits of most fabric finishes.
