Women's Bora Jacket Eclipse Blue Reviews

The Bora Jacket is the perfect layering piece for high activity days when the wind picks up. With a fully windproof outer and an Octa® fleece-lined interior, you’ll be protected from the elements without adding unnecessary weight and bulk to your layering system. A PFC-free Durable Water Repellency finish on the outer fabric offers resistance to light showers if you get caught out – and when not in use, the Bora neatly packs away into its built-in Packpocket.
3 external secure zipped pockets offer plenty of storage space for your on-the-go essentials. These pockets are intentionally placed on the outside of the jacket to allow for easy access without the need to unzip the jacket.
The jacket hood provides additional protection when the wind is unrelenting – but if you’d prefer to wear the jacket without a hood, it can be rolled away and secured down with a snap fastening. This versatile design allows you to wear the jacket whichever way suits your adventure.
Despite its lightweight design, this jacket provides an impressive amount of warmth thanks to its Octa® fleece lining. This hollowfibre fleece design helps to trap warm air, keeping you warm while you explore. On active adventures it’s normal to build-up a sweat – this jacket uses Dynamic Moisture Control to wick away moisture, keeping you feeling comfortable and dry.
Fabric: Outer: 100% Polyamide Lining: 100% Polyester

Purchased the purple / pink Brora last autumn, after losing my lightweight rain jacket. Very little opportunity to wear it during the wet, cold winter months but it is now indispensable. Smart enough to wear in town yet useful as a layer in the hills. I love its low pack size and weight and it increasingly comes everywhere with me! I bought it full price (less the Gift Your Gear discount) so the reduced price makes it a bargain for anyone still hesitating about purchasing the Brora - just do it!

Honestly one of the most useful bits of kit I've bought! I already have the non-lined windproof jacket from Rohan which is fab to have in my daypack on nice days to take the chill off if there's a breeze on the hills. I purchased this one for a bit of additional warmth (and the hood!), and it really does deliver - especially considering how light it is!! I've also washed mine after a particularly long sweaty hike, and it came out brilliantly with a quick tumble-dry. I am 5 ft 2in, size 10-12, and got the size medium - it's a flattering relaxed fit which can be worn with a single t-shirt, and also over a few thin layers, eg base layer/microgrid fleece/thin gilet.
