“The Aether long sleeve T is quite remarkable. I expected the material to be light weight, just like the name implies, but it really is like wearing air. Imagine very fine silk draped over your body and that's how it feels to me, but with all the benefits of a modern technical fabric. I'm 6ft 2ins, wear a medium and find the body and sleeves to have a generous length while being close fitting. It's going to be great for summer evenings, or under a micro fleece on cooler days.”

“I bought 2 long sleeve and 3 short sleeve Ts taking advantage of the 20% offer. They are extremely comfortable as a base layer under a fleece in UK winter conditions. I also ntend to use them in the warmer climes of Australia as a single layer. Apart from being soft and comfortable they dry extremely quickly.”

“I bought this in black as an unplanned purchase in the summer sale. I had in mind that I had some long sleeved, heavy cotton dark coloured shirts that I wear in the city during cold weather, where a full thickness winter base layer was too warm when I went indoors (eg. from just above freezing outside into a cozy pub). In practice, the Aether T works well as a lightweight base layer under a wide variety of mid layers : casual shirts, microgrid fleeces, chunky fleeces and woollen jumpers. I spend a lot of time sitting in a chilly home office that is typically 10 to 14C during winter and I can pair the Aether T with an appropriate upper layer. It's quite long in the arm and I'll probably try wearing it for short winter cycle rides. The seams are very robust, but do look like an under layer. Apart from that, it's a good looking garment and could be worn on its own and look more baselayer than underwear. Only 4 stars because there's nothing exceptional about it.”
