The Women’s Alberta Jacket will keep you warm in the iciest winter cold. Fully insulated, waterproof, windproof and breathable, it’s lined with sheet and baffled synthetic insulation and makes use of our 2-Layer Barricade Standard waterproof technology to protect you from any downpours.
The Alberta Jacket is lined with a fluffy and flexible synthetic insulation that offers high warmth and elasticity. Sheet insulation has been stitched in baffles down the sleeves, while high-loft clusters are used throughout the body, so you have the warmth you need where you need it when you’re defying the winter weather on your outdoor adventures.
When you’re wearing gloves to protect your hands against the bitter cold, the zip pulls on the five zipped security pockets on this jacket make it easy for you to grab what you need. For added warmth and comfort, there’s a brushed tricot lining in each hand pocket, and for extra protection there’s a funnel neck. The fixed hood is fully insulated and adjustable at the front and the back, to keep the wind away from your ears. The Alberta Jacket is mid-thigh length for extra protection and full of thoughtful features that make it easy for you to keep cosy in inclement weather, whether you’re watching fireworks on a cold November evening or following forest trails on an icy morning walk.
The 2-Layer Barricade construction means that two layers – a water repellent outer and a PU hydrophilic membrane – are bonded together, with taped seams to prevent any water from leaking through. In the Alberta Jacket, a baffled, insulated lining protects this waterproof membrane and provides optimum warmth throughout the colder months.
On the outer fabric, a Durable Water Repellency finish is added to force water droplets to bead up and roll away, preventing the fabric from soaking through. When put together, the Barricade Standard technology keeps you dry when you’re exploring in wet weather and the Durable Water Repellency protects the garment from wetting out, so you can enjoy your adventures unbothered by any storms that may be brewing.
