On the two hand pockets, these water-repellent zips are positioned so they’ll sit above the waist belt of your rucksack, making it easy to grab whatever you need at a moment’s notice.
If you’re starting to warm up as you move, or if the temperature isn’t quite as low as you thought, the mesh lining in each hand pocket doubles as a vent, allowing air to flow through your jacket and keep you cool. When you stop at the summit to take in the views, the slightly longer length of this jacket means you can still comfortably take a seat even if a bench, or rocks, are slightly damp. And when the wind picks up, you can use the Cohaesive™ adjustments at the back of the hood and the concealed adjusters at the front to tighten the fit of the snorkel hood, for added protection on extra blustery days.
