The Men’s Alberta Jacket is an insulated, fully waterproof, windproof and breathable winter jacket, ready to protect you from the worst winter weather. Our 2-Layer Barricade Standard technology shields you from pouring rain, while a baffled, insulated lining provides optimum warmth on bitterly cold days.
Designed to offer complete protection from all the elements, the Alberta Jacket is lined with a synthetic insulation that’s fluffy and flexible, with high warmth and elasticity. Sheet insulation has been stitched in baffles down the sleeves, while high-loft clusters are used throughout the body, so you have the warmth you need where you need it as you take on icy cold temperatures this winter.
Whether you’re stood outside enjoying the fireworks on an icy November evening, or walking lakeside paths on a brisk winter morning, the mid-thigh length Alberta Jacket will keep you warm and dry. The 2-Layer Barricade construction of this jacket means the waterproof fabric has two layers – a water repellent outer and a PU hydrophilic membrane, which are bonded together with taped seams to prevent water from leaking through. The baffled, insulated lining protects the waterproof membrane and keeps you warm in the height of winter.
A Durable Water Repellency (DWR) is applied to the outer fabric of the Alberta Jacket, to prevent it from wetting out. DWR forces water droplets to bead up and roll off the garment, stopping the fabric from soaking through. Put simply, the Barricade Standard technology keeps you dry in wet weather, and the DWR protects the garment from getting wet, so you can venture into the great outdoors without a second thought about inclement weather.
With seven pockets in total, there’s space for all the small pieces of kit you want to carry with you. Five zipped security pockets will keep your valuables safe, and the brushed tricot lining in each hand pocket adds warmth and comfort. This cosy winter jacket ensures total protection from the elements – the baffled, insulated lining locks in heat; the zip pulls are easy to use when you’re wearing gloves; the insulated, fixed hood is fully adjustable at the front and back to keep the wind away from your ears, and a funnel neck provides extra protection when you’re out and about.
