A lightweight and packable insulated layer that’s designed to protect you from icy mornings through bitterly cold days, the Men’s Helios Jacket makes light work of harsh winter weather.
The lightweight ripstop outer fabric has a Durable Water Repellency (DWR) finish, protecting you from light unexpected rain showers. DWR forces water droplets to bead up and roll off the Helios Jacket, preventing the fabric from wetting out and keeping you comfortable as you test out new footpaths across the countryside.
While the outer fabric keeps you dry, the synthetic Insuloft R-XE insulation inside keeps you warm. Crafted from 100% recycled polyester, this insulation is low in bulk, soft yet dense and won’t lose its warmth if it gets wet. To keep you comfortable as you move, Insuloft has been body mapped throughout the jacket, with Insuloft Core Screen on the front panels. This insulation, with an added membrane, will draw moisture away from your body and through the fabric of the jacket, keeping you comfortable on your most active adventures, from brisk walks through the forest to long hikes up to the summit.
Three zipped secure pockets will keep your valuables safe, with the internal chest pocket doubling up as a PackPocket so you can easily pack down and stow away this lightweight layer. For extra protection against the winter chill, you can tighten the single-point adjustment at the back of the fixed hood to trap more heat.
