Warm, waterproof and with five pockets, the Men’s Aran Jacket is a protective winter coat with plenty of space to safely store your daytrip essentials.
This insulated jacket is the perfect addition to any cold weather adventures, from windy winter walks along the beach to days spent exploring cobbled city streets in rainy weather. It’s fully lined with lightweight, synthetic Insuloft wadded insulation, providing long-lasting and superior warmth that doesn’t lose any heat when it gets wet, perfect for active adventuring or the cold, damp conditions that are the hallmarks of British winter. Insuloft is tough, it re-lofts quickly after being compressed and maintains its loft through use and wear.
The Aran Jacket will keep you warm in icy temperatures, and our 2-Layer Barricade Standard technology makes it waterproof, windproof and breathable too. The 2-Layer construction means the waterproof fabric has two layers bonded together – a water-repellent outer and a PU hydrophilic membrane – so you can stay cosy even on long days out in the pouring rain.
Five pockets keep your valuables safe and your hands warm. Two lower zipped pockets are protected by flaps and secured by poppers, the internal zipped pocket is the perfect place to store your phone or keys, and two upper pockets are lined with a soft brushed fleece for added comfort and a touch of luxury.

“Men's Aran Waterproof Jacket Black. I bought this in October 2023 and would have liked to have given this jacket five stars, as it is warm, waterproof, wind proof and beautifully made. But, I find all four outside pockets rather inaccessible due to the restrictive flaps, and the front zip is too small for easy use. Otherwise an excellent winter coat.”

“Men's Aran Waterproof Jacket Purchased two of these jackets, carbon 18 months ago and the green a year ago. Sizing as usual with Rohan is spot on for my medium frame. I like the feel of the fabric and the fit, looks smart for city breaks and is roomy without the bulk and warm without overheating - important for the second purchase. The hood stays in place with correct amount of depth for protection. Purchased the second for fishing as the qualities of the coat meet the requirement for the wild countryside. Further to this my wife bought the ladies version soon after my first, its her go to coat for walking.”
