Offering an exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio, the Men’s Eos Jacket uses 700 fill power premium goose down to seal in warmth, allowing you to push through low temperatures and keep exploring even on the coldest days.
Lightweight and incredibly comfortable, the Eos uses a boxwall construction to ensure the down filling isn’t compressed at the seams, diminishing the possibility of cold spots in the jacket. Its lightweight construction allows you to stay as warm as possible, without weighing you down. Ideal for those cold winter days out in the hills.
If you get caught in an unexpected snow flurry, a Durable Water Repellency finish on the outside of the jacket helps to protect the external fabric, while a hydrophobic coating on the down filling helps protect the internal insulation from moisture.
3 secure zipped pockets on the outside of the jacket provide convenient and protective storage for your belongings. The two front pockets are equipped with brushed microfleece interiors for added comfort and warmth if your hands get cold.
To prevent heat from escaping, the Eos features an adjustable hood and hem. The hem can be tightened using the adjusters inside the front pockets, allowing you to tailor your fit without having to unzip the jacket in the cold.
Fabric: Outer And Lining: 100% Polyester - Recycled Fibres Filling: 80% Goose Down 20% Feather

Not very happy at all with this jacket. While it keeps you nice and warm, it sheds feathers like nobodies business. Every time i wear it is seem to have a feather on my head or on my back and I am constantly finding feathers in the car or in the house. I would suspect in a year or so it will be next to useless.

Thank you for taking the time to review our Eos Jacket. It is natural for some of the down and feathers to escape through the fabric, particularly through the seams. The sharp quills of the feathers can poke tiny holes in the fabric and work their way through to the outside. This may happen particularly in newer products when the down has not had an opportunity to settle. When you see a feather popping out through one of the seams, the best thing to do is gently push the feather back into the jacket and rub the hole to help close the fibres of the fabric back up. We do not recommend pulling these out. We do hope this is helpful, however please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Team on 0800 840 1411 (Monday-Friday, 9:00-17:00) if you require any assistance. Once again, thank you for your time.

The Eos is a brilliant jacket, so warm and filled with quality goose down, very comfortable and extremely well made. I have had a waterproof Rohan jacket for 25 years and still going strong, just wanted something warmer, this Eos does the job, so warm in freezing weather and water resistant, light rain just rolls off, would highly recommend this jacket, also it arrived quickly.

Having really liked the predecessor to EOS, I really enjoyed using the Nightfall Jacket with one exception - the Nightfall Jacket had a detachable hood which is a feature I dislike on mountaineering jackets. Just having returned from Nepal I thought I'd take the opportunity to review the EOS I took with me. With a group of friends, our trekking objective was Annapurna Base Camp (4150m), an objective I'd previously achieved back in 2006. My Stratus Blue colour suited me just fine and I wore it at every opportunity on the trek. As the days were warm and sunny, my useage of the EOS was mostly after we arrived at trekking lodges which, strangely, were mostly without stoves for trekkers to huddle round in the evenings and at breakfast time. My jacket was a perfect fit and comfortable to wear with a well styled hood and deep and useful side pockets. Just a couple of small criticisms which I'd like to see on an upgraded EOS 2 if that happens would be for a PackPocket (as on the Nightfall Jacket) and one fairly large secure internal pocket. It's such a shame a review can't include at least one image of a product in action. The next outings for my EOS are two weeks in the High Atlas mountains of Morocco (training berber Mountain Guides) and two weeks in snow covered (hopefully) Norway in February. Both these trips will offer amazing photographic opportunities for the EOS using my high reslution Nikon D750 camera. A great jacket - well done to the Rohan Design Team. Very warm and well made. Good hood design means it doesn’t fall below your eyes so frames neatly around your face well allowing clear vision. Good outside chest pocket, and pockets for hands are well placed. I’m 6’ 3” and 44” chest and the large size fits me perfectly. Other Rohan raincoat is XL so there’s a bit of sizing discrepancy somewhere. Hood and hem are adjustable, and main zip has a useful pull design detail which presumably helps if wearing gloves. All round a great purchase for cold winter dog walks.
