The Women's Striders are all about comfort; the outer fabric provides stretch and protection with Durable Water Repellency (DWR), which enables water to bead up and roll off the garment, so you can stay dry in any unexpected showers that pass overhead while you’re exploring the hills.
These comfortable stretchy trousers are made with our durable MultiFlex fabric, a blend of polyester and elastane, to allow for greater freedom of movement when out on the trails on chilly days, when the weather is unpredictable. On the inside, stay protected from the cold with a soft-to-touch brushed fleece backing that is comfortable on the skin.
The Striders are simplistic yet highly technical, which we at Rohan are well known for. Ideal for any outdoor activity, yet smart enough for everyday general use, these will quickly become your favourite pair to grab; no matter the outing.
Keeping your valuables safe is a top priority when out on your adventures, with the Striders we made sure to provide that. Featuring three secure pockets; two hand pockets with zips at the front and one at the back to keep your valuables safe and close by whenever needed.

“Lovely lined walking trousers which keep legs warm in winter, but had to go a size bigger than usual. I wear 8R in roamers, and dry roamers but these were just too tight around waist, hips and thighs in size 8, and a visible difference in sizes if you lay the two styles next to each other.”

“Excellent fit, very comfortable, and a good length. They are warm without feeling sweaty when out walking. My elderly mother took the larger pair I had ordered, and she found they were very cosy to wear, and an easy popper for her arthritic fingers to manage.”

“I love this style as my ‘winter walking trousers’’ as they’ve got warmth but also the DWR surface to repel slight showers. I miss, however, the leg pocket for my phone and the open pockets that my ‘summer’ trousers (Roamers) have. Rohan leg length is variable so I always buy longer and turn up either one or two hem widths. Flattering shape and narrower legs so no longer flapping in the breeze. I bought both 14 and 16 to compare as your sizing is also variable. This time the 16 won but that might be as it’s just after the festive feasting season !”

“I bought some of these for my wife before Christmas, and she was so pleased with them, I got another pair for her for Christmas, and another pair in the New Year sale. I have a pair of the men’s version, and they are also great for the cold weather, as are two pairs of ‘Older’ Striders designs which I have used for many years when cross country skiing in Poland!”
