The Fjell Vapour Jacket has been designed with the hills and fells in mind, Large zipped pockets in the chest and waist give you the space to carry your valuables and essential kit with you; these have been thoughtfully designed so that you are able to access these pockets whilst wearing a rucksack.Engineered panels allow for unrestricted movement when walking, four-way stretch helps you move comfortably and Durable Water Repellency protects you from unexpected summer showers. Paired with technical jersey panels with FreshWay technology this jacket really is a must for those more challenging hikes.
FreshWay technology has been incorporated into this garment, this mean that tiny traces of silver are distributed evenly throughout the fibres of the jacket. Silver is a highly effective antimicrobial agent which safely inhibits the growth of odour-causing bacteria and fungi. The use of FreshWay can also increase the lifetime of the garment due to the reduction of bacteria build which results in less washing.
A funnel collar lined with jersey will protect the back of your neck, and also naturally wick away moisture. Partly elastic cuffs keep the jacket secure around your wrists and easily accessible zipper pullers. Pair the Fjell Jacket with the Vapour T and Vista Trousers for a great technical outfit. “This jacket looks great on, very flattering. Unfortunately it is not warm nor windproof. The front would be shower proof but the rain would soak through the back. I do not recommend this jacket at all.”

We were pleased to learn you like the fit and style of this jacket however, we are sorry to learn of your disappointment with its performance. Kindly be advised, this garment is not designed to be waterproof and only offers our Durable Water Repellancy finish. This is is an advanced treatment and alone offers a useful level of resistance in unexpected summer showers, however, will not protect you during a downpour. The jacket is also not described as windproof and is more recommended for use during the summer months.
