The Greenwich Jacket is a versatile jacket with 2.5-Layer Barricade Standard built into the construction, it is waterproof, windproof and breathable, you can be sure that you will stay dry in any unexpected downpours. With functional zip pockets to store your valuables and a fixed hood ready to grab when you need it, it will become your go-to jacket when it’s looking a bit grey outside.
Three key areas determine the Barricade Standard; Membrane Water Resistance, Membrane Breathability and; lastly, Garment Construction, our waterproofs will stop a 20,000mm column of water entering whilst allowing 20,000g/m2/24hr of water vapour to leave. Hydrophilic membrane more commonly recognised as PU (Polyurethane) are used and the garment seams are taped to create a fully sealed waterproof garment.
Our 2.5-Layer construction method is where the water-repellent outer fabric and the PU hydrophilic membrane are bonded together and then protected by a print. This 0.5 of a layer helps to keep you comfortable and the membrane protected. The Greenwich Jacket is one of our lightest, fully waterproof garments and with its smart looking design it’s the perfect choice for when you’re popping out to the shops.
Our Barricade Standard keeps you from getting soaked in sudden showers, Durable Water Repellency has been added to prevent the garment from wetting out. DWR forces water droplets to ‘bead up’ and run off the outside of the fabric. the jacket features a two-way front zipper for extra movement and comfort and adjustable cuffs with a snap fastening.
