The Aran Cap has been made using our 2-Layer Barricade Standard, this means that its waterproof, windproof, yet still breathable. The 2-Layer Barricade Standard is made up of an outer waterproof membrane and a brushed micro fleece lining. The lining protects the membrane but also keeps your head soft, warm and comfortable, keeping the elements at bay when you’re out climbing hills on a wet day.
In addition to the 2-Layer Barricade Standard, a Durable Water Repellency finish has been added so that rain beads up and rolls off the stiffened peak, keeping your head and the fabric dry. Ear flaps have been added to shield your ears and neck from the weather and a removable and adjustable chin strap is accessible to keep the hat secured and in place in high winds.
