The Merino Cool T Long Sleeve is the perfect base layer for any city adventure. Our Merino Cool fabric is what makes up this long sleeve top, the fabric mixes tough polyamide with its great durability and speed of drying, Merino wool as it is naturally anti-microbial, temperature regulating, high wicking and super soft, along with Lyocell which further enhances the properties of the merino and polyamide. Merino fibres have a natural crimp, this means that it does a great job of trapping still air which is a fantastic insulator and provides a great buffer against cold winter days. Merino wool fibres are more flexible and softly bend when they are pressed against the skin, giving merino that sought after soft and warm to touch feel.
Merino wool is recognised as a 4-season fibre, whilst it works to keep you warm in the winter, when you’re powering up those hills or in the warmer weather it has the ability to wick away moisture from your skin and evaporates the moisture, cooling the air between your skin and the fabric.
Lyocell is added to the blend further enhancing the properties of polyamide and merino wool. The fibres are created from a naturally sourced and sustainable material derived from wood pulp, and was originally created to be an alternative to silk. The production process transforms the wood pulp into threads ready to be blended into other fabrics. Its incredibly soft against the skin, and is also naturally high wicking and breathable just like merino wool, and has excellent durability and recovery like polyamide.
Polyamide is a tough synthetic fibre that adds durability, recovery and easy-care functionality to the T-Shirt.
