The Men's Fjell Jacket has been designed whether you're dashing through town or hiking through the hills. Four-way MultiFlex stretch fabric means our Fjell Jacket never holds you back, even in sudden showers whilst out on a long hike.As the fabric is coated with our specially developed Durable Water Repellency finish (DWR), which forces water droplets to bead up and run off the outside of the jacket. The DWR finish boosts the fabric's water repellency whilst maintaining its effectiveness.
For further protection from the elements, you can fine tune the fit, thanks to the fixed hood with adjustable points, plus adjustable hem and cuffs. The stretch also allows for better freedom of movement, while the engineered panelling provides added functionality and durability for those more challenging hikes.
Fjell delivers zipped up protection that never feels restrictive. Four zipped pockets come as standard with the Fjell Jacket, two on the chest and two near the waist, so you can comfortably carry your adventuring essentials, such as an OS Maps. They're also strategically placed for easy access while wearing a rucksack.
The Fjell Jacket is perfect for combining with a fleece or waterproof as part of our ready-for-anything layering system. Why not try it for yourself? Fabric: Main 92% Polyamide 8% Elastane. Contrast
95% Polyamide 5% Elastane. Lining 82% Polyamide 18% Elastane

In general, this is a really good jacket and I'm enjoying wearing it. If you are considering buying this, do be aware that it is, essentially, a shell jacket - you will need an insulation layer in colder weather. The reason for four starts rather than five is the uneven lining of the jacket. The front is effectively lined by virtue of the pockets but the back has no lining at all, except over the shoulders. This means that insulation is rather uneven and unless you are wearing an insulation layer or wearing a backpack, your back will always be colder than your front. Hopefully, a future iteration of the jacket will include some lining in the back. If I were designing this jacket, I'd bring the lining used over the shoulders down to the back hem - job done :)
