Our Dry Roamers are the must-have wardrobe essential whether you’re at home or away. Designed to be light, soft, and packable, if you’re looking for a hard-wearing and versatile waterproof trouser, then look no further.
These trousers are perfect for year-round use, making them an ideal addition to every adventure wardrobe. Although fully waterproof, they look and feel like regular walking trousers. An internal Drop-Liner Barricade™ makes them waterproof and windproof, allowing you to explore for longer, offering the same sort of performance you'd expect from our regular outdoor trousers.
A Durable Water Repellency (DWR) finish on the outer material adds an extra layer of water protection. This treatment encourages water droplets to bead up and roll off the fabric, rather than soaking through. And even in heavier rain when the material starts to get wet, the internal waterproof Drop-Liner Barricade™ ensures that the moisture never makes it through to your skin.
The MultiFlex Light 2-Way stretch fabric adds an extra level of comfort, exactly what you need for those long hikes or walks. For security, there are two concealed pockets one in the upper waist and one situated on the leg. It’s important to note that these pockets are not waterproof.
A note on pockets
The two front and two security pockets are not waterproof, avoid putting your valuable items in them in wet conditions.
Fabric: 95% Polyamide 5% Elastane with 100% Polyester lining

I normally live in another brand of lined walking trousers, but have been somewhat put out to learn they will no longer be imported to the UK. My lovely local specialist outdoors shop recommended Rohan to me, as one of the few places that offer lined walking trousers. First impressions, these feel very nice and look smart, a neater fit than my previous. They initially looked a wee bit short (I'm 5'9") but not an issue once the walking boots were on. The downsides? First, no zips on the pockets. What were you thinking?! The last thing anyone needs to worry about is stuff falling out, whilst scrambling about or lying down. Please, zips! Pop-studs are too fiddly. Second, the sizing. I'm a podgy 12. I've put on lockdown weight and my previously well-fitting 12s had become a struggle to do up. The Rohan trousers felt much better, until I realised I easily had a spare inch or so of space at the waist. They're loose. I hate belts but trousers sliding down at random isn't much fun either. So I'd describe these as a generous 12, though I suspect the 10s would be too snug. I've been out in the freezing Scottish wind recently and don't think these feel quite as warm as my old-faithfuls, but a pair of thermal leggings underneath is easy enough to do. Not yet tested them in the rain, there's plenty of that here but I've not felt masochistic enough to venture out. Overall, they look good, feel comfortable and would be a real winner if they felt a better fit at the waist and had those pocket zips. For £115 I'd like to know my pocket clutter would still be where I put it, by the end of a day.
