I ordered this coat as I wanted something slightly smarter than a normal waterproof jacket. It was on sale, and I was happy with the price. On the whole I am happy with the jacket, Ot worn it much yet, but it is a good fit, roomy enough to wear a another layer for additional warmth and actually looks pretty smart too. The outer fabric is a different finish to any other Rohan jacket I have so will see how it goes over time. I really would like Rohan to adopt some of their core features in all their jackets though, namely a hood that you can always fold away, secure outer pocket for phone and a flap that covers the zips. These are the features which make Rohan the best at outdoor clothing, but sadly they are not included as a standard design which is a real shame as these make all the difference between good and great..

The coat has a good length and keeps your bottom covered, but feels very thin and doesn't feel particularly warm, even in temperatures above zero. I personally found the styling to be very bland and rather unattractive, which combined with the price and middling insulation didn't make it feel a great product. The lack of zipped pockets is also annoying - the inner ones are open pouches so great for dropping gloves in, but not secure and the outer pockets are zipped, but given you'd likely put your hands in them means they are not secure either
