Made from a blend of soft merino and technical polyester, our Merino Union 150 Vest combines the quick-drying nature of a synthetic, and merino wool’s natural anti-bacterial properties.Merino wool has an uncanny ability to regulate your temperature in a wide range of conditions. It’s nice and cosy in the cold but never too hot when the temperature, or your activity level, start to rise. It ‘wicks’ moisture extremely efficiently and, because wool is the only fibre in the world that can absorb vapour, it delays the onset of sweating - keeping you far more comfortable and eliminating that unpleasant chilling feeling you sometimes get when you take a break or slow down.
Our Merino Union 150 Vest is incredibly soft and comfortable next to the skin - there’s none of the unpleasant itching you get with ordinary wool or poor quality merino.
The fabric blend also has another remarkable benefit which makes it particularly suitable for wearing next to the skin. Wool has an amazing resistance to the build-up of odour. You can wear it for days without feeling the need to freshen it up. On a long trip, where washing facilities are limited, it’s a real boon. And when the time finally does come to freshen it up, you’ll find it’s simplicity itself to wash. Just throw it in the machine or rinse it through with travel wash. And, because of the quick drying nature of synthetics, just hang it out to dry and it’ll be ready to go again the next day.The pointelle fabric construction isn’t just an attractive finish, it’s functional too. The little eyelets makes the garment more breathable, and - counterintuitively – this ‘holey’ construction actually gives the fabric a higher level of durability. Fabric: Merino Union 150 (48% merino wool, 48% polyester, 3% polamide, 1% elastane)

I have several of these and love them. Comfortable, warm and can be worn as a t- shirt if you need to take off layers. I wish it came in other colours as well as carbon.

I opened it up and saw the see-through fabric and thought oh no. But putting it on, you can't even see the white bra under it. I am size 16, bought a large and it fits very well. As I am a larger size, it is difficult to get anything that doesn't make you look like a sausage roll and this one doesn't. Now bring back the simple skirts as well please...

A lovely hardworking top, the charcoal colour is great. It’s a little see-through so unless you are bolder than me you’ll need something under it.
