Men's Bags Trousers True Navy Reviews

The iconic Rohan Bags are the original multi-functional outdoor trousers and the blueprint for all contemporary travel trousers.
Everything in our clothing range owes a little something to the ground-breaking inspiration behind Bags.
Bags were, astonishingly, first introduced way back in 1982. And, at the time, they caused a big impression in the active outdoor clothing market.
People told us they would never sell. Initially, because they were too futuristic. And now they tell us they won’t sell because they’re not ‘fashionable’ enough. Yet every year Bags are our best-selling trousers. (Good job the only people we listen to are our customers.)
We know of many Rohan enthusiasts who own six or seven pairs. And of people who refuse to throw away pairs that are over twenty years old – they may have been relegated to gardening duty, but they’re still giving good service and great value for money.
Lightweight and quick-drying, they also offer UPF 40+ Sun Protection*. They feature four security pockets, side expansion panels, reinforced seat and knees and, of course, our trademark accessory D-ring.
Rohan Bags are the polar opposite of today’s disposable, frivolous ‘fast’ fashions.
They just work. It was true 35 years ago and it’s still true today.
*A Note on Sun Protection
All Rohan garments which carry our sun protection icon, have been tested in accordance with recognised international standards for ultraviolet radiation protection. As a guide to the level of protection offered to covered areas, garments are awarded a rating of UPF 40+. Protection may be significantly reduced with extended wear or if the garment is stretched or wet; the reduction of associated health risks will vary with other factors such as skin type or individual medical history.
Available in a 36” unfinished leg length. Can be hemmed to desired length with iron on stick up tape provided.
Fabric: 48% Cotton, 52% Polyester

“I have been wearing these for 30+ years, and have bought more than 10 pairs. Have travelled in them to 100+ countries. The design is excellent, and I love the double pockets, non-stretch fabric, double-layer knee, and the key loop. I am so very very sad that these have been discontinued. Please email me if they come back. I would like to buy 2 pairs straight away. Also the loose-fitting underwear.”

“My second pair of bags; the first bought when Noah was a lad. They're still in great condition but no longer fit! That says more about the trousers than me. The new pair are a great fit and pretty true to size. I order a slightly generous 36' waist as I prefer a looser fit when walking up hills. They are well designed and made. Quality zips. Plenty of pockets. Reinforced knees and bum. Belt loops are broad so bigger belts will fit. Obviously it depends on how hot you personally 'run' but it's felt like -1C where I am today (inc wind chill) and the bags have been very comfortable. I anticipate them being ideal in warmer climates eg SE Asia. Good strong colours and none of those wishy-washy shades that will show up all the dust after a days activities. Recommended I have other Rohan products and the sizing and quality seems consistent across them all.”

“The one thing I hate about these trousers (I have had at least 5 pairs since rthey first came out) is that the two back pockets are far too big and you end up sitting on your keys/wallet etc. If only they made them the proper size ..... Maybe I'm missing somethiong ? Otherwise they are OK”
