Beginning with a cleaning and phosphate treatment to prevent rust, followed by a cathodic dip coating, and a powder primer and protective powder coating which determines the colour. A final coating thickness of 0.25mm is achieved. Compared to a standard powder coating thickness of 0.08mm - 0.12mm, by providing a 0.25mm Alexander Rose achieves a superb smooth finish with a fantastic level of weather resistance, providing you with years of enjoyment from your Garden Furniture. All Portofino items also include a 5 year warranty. Mesh The Portofino range features a fine mild steel mesh backs and seats, with a phosphate treatment to prevent rust, followed by a cathodic dip where a layer of primer is evenly applied, followed by metallic grey powder coating resulting in a stylish finish. Ensuring the mesh backing and seat features the same high quality finish and weather resistance as the steel frame. Portofino Polyester Cushions Portofino cushions are made from polyester and filled with an Utraspring fibre giving a luxurious feel. In some cases they come with ties to secure them to the furniture. The fabric is resistant to shrinking and staining. We recommend storing the cushions in a dry environment throughout the winter months as this will ensure they stay in good condition. Polyester cushions come with a 1 year warranty. Parasols And Bases Alexander Rose boast a wide variety of parasols to accompany your garden furniture. Produced with only high quality stainless steel, aluminium or hardwood, these parasols are the perfect accessory to go with any furniture set. Of course if there is a parasol, there will most likely be a parasol base needed. With one composite base designed for lightweight parasols in use with a table, various granite weighted bases ranging from 11kg to 30kg for standard parasols and 50kg and 90kg for the larger cantilever parasols, Alexander Rose are bound to have a base suitable for you. All Alexander Rose parasols and bases come with a 3 year warranty.
