“I decided to order the Monty after a visit from my niece. She told me a story about waiting for a delivery from a company named after an ancient female warrior race. Her story sounded like the first scene from a romcom.
There was a knock on her front door, and in anticipation, she skipped down the stairs singing out loud that her parcel had arrived.
She opened the door to be faced, not by a driver with a parcel but a cold caller for Ringtons. Suffice to say, my niece dislikes cold callers, trying to sell stuff she's not interested in. She can't stand them.
Anyhoo, this guy commented on her singing and apologised for not being her parcel delivery person. I believe my niece was caught aback realising this young man had heard her singing.
Because he did not seem to be reading from a script my niece decided to hear him out. He was giving away Ringtons samples. No catch.
As a result, she ended up putting in an order to Ringtons for various products.
She complained as she could not believe that this bloody cold caller had managed to suck her in. At the same time she had to admit that the products she bought were lovely. In particular she loved the Ultimate Gold tea bags and the Ginger Snap biscuits.
I thought her story was very funny, even more so as she was recommending for me to give Ringtons a go. So, I did. I ordered the Monty and must admit, I was not disappointed. My order arrived in good time.
Now I'm not a tea conniseir but did find the Gold to be better than I have tasted previously and the biscuits? Gorgeous.
So thank you to cold caller Nathan of Ringtons, for the way you Jedi mind tricked my niece.”
