“As a customer of Rington' tea for some 40+ years I would consider myself to be a connoisseur of their product range. Of course, as a family we have our favourites which we buy over and over again (the apple crumble and triple chocolate cookies are simply delectable) but some, as one would expect, are not quite to individual tastes. Yesterday, in addition to our usual multiple biscuit buy I purchased a packet of the new ‘Rhubarb Crumble Biscuits’. The verdict x 6 family members was unanimous – AWFUL, to the point of something very wrong. The biscuits had what we can only describe as chemical type taste, so much so it lingered in our pallets for some time afterwards. A definite NO, NO from us!”
