Used Technics Kn7000 Keyboard Includes Free Courier Boxed Home Delivery. ( Not Original Box) 3 Month Parts & Labour Guarantee. Includes Owners Manual & reference manual. Used Technics Kn7000 Keyboard The pinnacle of Technics legendary KN series, the Technics SX KN7000 workstation keyboard is a classic and is still widely used by discerning musicians today. All of the styles and sounds are PCM generated and still very well liked by many musicians. The layout of the keyboard is very intuitive and easy to use. As i mentioned the PCM Samples on the Technics KN7000 give you breath-taking sounds such as the Baritone Sax Soloist, Brush Kit and amazing Boys Vocal. There's an accordion resister, Live Jazz Kit 2, Folk Guitar and an incredible Jazz Organ soloist. There are well over 1000 sounds on the KN7000 and with a Wave Rom 33% bigger than the Technics KN6500 the sound quality has to be heard to be believed. The keyboard is used but is in excellent condition, it has been checked over and is all working, the screen is very clear and all working fine. The keyboard would be courier delivered in a secure /safe box for transportation , but not the original box. Andrew -Rimmers Music Dimensions; W 114 cm D 41 cm H 17 cm More About The Technics SX-KN7000 Keyboard Launched around 2002, the KN7000 was the top of the range keyboard and successor to the very popular KN6500 keyboard that it replaced. Along with the Yamaha Flagship keyboards like the newly launched Yamaha Tyros, the KN7000 offered a different take on things, having a folding control panel with integrated high resolution display. This compared to the Yamaha Tyros, gave it a very sleek appearance whilst closed. The Technics KN7000 was also the first keyboard to feature the SD Card slot (Which had been developed by Panasonic). Widescreen Display The KN7000 features a full colour LCD Widescreen display which communicates a wealth of information to the user, including the currently selected style, sound, song and much more. Storage heaven Many keyboards of the time utilised 3.5" Floppy Disk drives, and the KN7000 also has one, but it was the first ever consumer product to feature the SD Card. Although these are readily available now at very keen prices, they were a premium product when launched and as such commanded a high price, in part because Panasonic (being the inventors) were the only brand available. A wealth of Sounds The previous series of Technics KN Keyboards featured a very good sound set, the KN6500 having been built around the KN6000. With the new release of KN7000 the sound count was 1236 Voices which included Organ Drawbars, Organ Tabs, Accordion Registers and 41 Drum Kits. A very respectible specification even to todays standards Move with the Rhythm The Yamaha Tyros was equipped with 200 accompaniment styles and represented the highest style count from a Yamaha keyboard upon release. With the KN7000 the style count was higher, and at 220 Rhythms and 4 variations for each one, this was superior in this respect. Why should I buy one? Technics offer a very encompassing tone with the KN7000, and operation is quite intuitive. Of course, they don't focus on the current musical genres as Yamaha might, however if you want a keyboard that excels at the songs covering the prewar era up until the late 90's, then this may be the keyboard for you. At launch, the KN7000 retailed for around £4000 so this represents incredibly good value for a keyboard which performs and looks as good as it does Barry - Rimmers Music Specialist
