Kawai CN39 Digital Piano Premium Rosewood Package A piano you can feel. The Kawai CN39 digital piano in premium rosewood has everything you need to progress as a musician - all within an elegant cabinet. Thanks to the CN39's powerful speaker system and upgraded USB functionality, it's easy to see why Kawai remains a market leader in this forever shifting market. At the heart of the CN39 are the rich and expressive sounds of the SK-EX and EX concert grand pianos. These pianos were painstakingly recorded and accurately reproduced as digital signals to guarantee you hear the preserved harmonics and character. Unlike other digital pianos at this price, the Kawai CN39 also includes 355 internal sounds ranging from organs, strings, choirs, and synth pads. In addition to standard USB and MIDI ports, the CN39 now has integrated Bluetooth MIDI and audio, enabling extended wireless functionality. Once connected with a device, you can enhance the CN39's performance with a wide range of scoring and educational apps. You can even change the tone of your piano with Kawai's dedicated Virtual Technician control app. PiaBookPlayer app The PiaBookPlayer app allows Kawai digital piano* owners to view the notated scores of the many lesson songs and practise pieces built into their digital piano, and listen to these pieces playing back through the instrument’s Shigeru Kawai grand piano sounds. PiaBookPlayer takes advantage of the wireless Bluetooth MIDI feature built into many Kawai digital pianos, allowing players to enjoy listening to classical pieces and viewing their musical scores from the comfort of an armchair. The app also allows pages of the notated score to be advanced using the instrument’s soft or sostenuto pedals, for hands-free page turning. The grand piano experience Thanks to Kawai's class-leading Responsive Hammer III keyboard action, you can now experience the supreme touch of an acoustic grand piano. With its realistic movement and rigid, springless design, you will never look back at your old piano again. Kawai's attention to detail has resulted in structural noise and key wobble being kept do a minimum, even during staccato and fortissimo passages. Similar to all of Kawai's pianos, the CN39's keyboard has been weighted to mirror the heavier bass hammers and lighter treble hammers of an acoustic piano. For additional realism, the CN39 features counterweights which have been embedded within each key. These balanced weights will lighten the touch of the keys during gentle passages, while adding a greater feel of grandeur when playing with power. The CN39 even features let-off simulations which recreates the subtle notch felt when playing the keys of a grand piano. World-class sounds To ensure you have the best possible experience, the sounds of the SK-EX and EX have been placed into the heart of the CN39. These Shigeru Kawai instruments can be found in the most prestigious concert halls and musical institutions throughout the world, and are recognised for their outstanding tonal clarity and exceptional dynamic range. Professional pianists often select these pianos for prestigious events such as the Chopin, Tchaikovsky, and Rubinstein international piano competitions, among others. Now you can play on a Shigeru Kawai. All 88 keys of the SK-EX and EX concert grand pianos were painstakingly recorded, then accurately reproduced as high-fidelity digital waveforms. Unlike other piano manufacturers, Kawai records each note individually to preserve the grand pianos' unique harmonic character. This way, you always get an accurate representation of the original instruments. But the CN39 doesn't just come with piano sounds. It includes 355 high-quality tones from all over the world, including electric pianos, church organs, strings, choirs, and rhythms. For extra experimentation, the CN39 features Dual playing mode, which enables you to play two different sounds at the same time, such as a piano and strings. The CN39 even includes a Four Hands mode which divides the keyboard into two separate keyboards. This is a must-have for teachers as it enables a teacher and student (or student and student) to play at the same time, while only requiring one instrument. Digital flexibilty To complement the CN39's rich sounds, it also offers a strong selection of digital features for further enjoyment. Now featuring both wireless Bluetooth and audio, the CN3

Very happy with it! sounds great! Delivered on time and everything was smooth. One piece of advice assemble it with one other person at least! Sound is a bit different than Yamaha (beginners ear though, so bear in mind) but i still love it. Sounds a bit bassier, fuller but that can be tweaked.

The piano is excellent, as I expected it would be. The stool also is very good. However the only downside to the package is the dreadful headphones - this is clearly where money has been made. Why on Earth these cheap Walkman headphones (and I do mean 1980s style and quality) would be packaged with such a premium instrument is unfashionable! - an anomaly and a huge error of judgement. Delivery service and fulfilment time was excellent.
