Please Note All The P125a Listings Include Power Supply,Music Rest & Sustain Pedal Yamaha P125a Digital Piano Black What We Think The P-125a is the newest addition to Yamaha’s portable piano range, replacing its predecessor the P-115. The overall appearance of the piano is similar to the P-115, but the same cannot be said for the features. Yamaha’s CFIIIS 9’ Concert Grand piano is sampled superbly into the P-125a to give you an amazing piano sound, but if for whatever reason this isn’t to your liking, they have now included 3 variations so you can find a piano sound that suits. The same goes for the other voice categories (Electric Piano, Organ, Clavichord/Vibraphone & Strings), so you really can find a perfect sound for you. The enhanced 2-way speaker system gives you an authentic sound that, considering this is a portable piano, gives the impression you’re sat in front of an acoustic upright piano. Leyland Store Building on the success of the Yamaha P115, Yamaha release the P-125a digital piano boasting impressive looks and all new features. They've upgraded the speaker system to provide a more realistic piano tone when playing, added Table EQ which allows you to tailor your sound when playing in different environments, included drum tracks and rhythm patterns to accompany you and they've integrated smart device control for controlling many of the onboard functions. The Yamaha P-125 looks sophisticated and is compact enough to fit into most home environments. At just over 11kg, the P125's lightweight design also makes it a great choice for gigging musicians, band practice and studio use. The 88 note, fully weighted key bed provides the player with a realistic experience, ideal for those doing grades or wishing to improve their overall technique. There's two headphone sockets for quiet practice, plenty of effects and sounds to explore plus USB connectivity. Overall, the Yamaha P-125 piano will be a fine choice for pianists of any ability. What are Yamaha P-Series Digital Pianos? The P-Series of Yamaha pianos have been made to give you exceptional value for money while giving you access to some of Yamaha's world famous high end sounds and technology. They've got stylish looks, unrivalled playability at the price point and beautiful piano sounds. Other models in the range include the best selling P-45 and the P255. If you're a beginner or a parent looking for a digital piano for your budding musician, the P-Series is a fine range to choose from. What is the Smart Pianist APP? The Smart Pianist app lets you take control of many of the P-125's on board functions via a smart device. For example, you could set your iPad on the music rest and use it to select voice, rhythms and other Yamaha technology all on screen. What rhythm types are included? The Yamaha P-125 features on board accompaniments to help you keep time and practice playing along with rhythms. From rock to swing and everything in between, these tools can help to improve your playing abilities in a short space of time. Pure CF Sound Engine The Pure CF Sound Engine has been developed over numerous years to take into account over a century of work developing the acoustic piano sounds. Using state-of-the-art technology the Yamaha CFIIIS 9' Grand Piano has recorded and reproduced for the digital pianos. The Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) 88-key keyboard replicates an acoustic piano so you have a heavier touch in the bass and a lighter touch at the high end. Authentic Piano Performance Space An improved 2-way speaker system creates an expansive sound both upwards and downwards allowing you to hear a rich sound to mimic sitting in front of an acoustic piano. Table EQ The newly developed Table EQ allows you to maintain the best acoustics, even whilst playing on a hard surface to get the best sound possible. Backing Tracks The on-board bass and drum tracks are there to support your playing. There's a wide range of different tracks to cover a variety of different genres - rock, ballads, jazz and Christmas to name a few. These sounds can add to your practice or as a virtual drummer. Smart Pianist App A host of features can be controlled via the Smart Pianist App such as voices and rhythms. Your favourite settings can also be save to easily recall at a later date. Another function allows you to discover the chords used in audio

Overall I am pleased with the keyboard. It has taken a while to get used to the weighted keys as I am a complete beginner trying to learn to play. The instrument has a nice rich sound in the bass notes.

As a beginner I wanted a quality product that feels and sounds like a full size piano and would not require upgrading as I progress unless of course I want to treat myself to something much grander. That was my aim and I have to say Yamaha have not disappointed me in any respect. The keys are really smooth and the sound is excellent. It looks really nice in the room and with the addition of Yamaha headphones I can practice for long periods without irritating the household. The Rimmer video on the product is very good and well worth watching.

As soon as I started playing the Yamaha P125 I soon realised it was a bit special, great sound, not hundreds of voices but still very versatile, a well thought out instrument, it has everything you need without having an overwhelming array of buttons and options. Pleased with my purchase. Cushti.

I bought this keyboard for my granddaughter who is relatively new to piano playing. She is delighted with it and it does sound just like a piano.

This is a great stage piano for the money. The feel is good, the sound quality is good, even on its own speakers. I would recommend this piano for anyone doing gigs or going to University as it is lightweight, with a good action and easy to move about.
