Yamaha APX600 Electro Acoustic Guitar Oriental Blue Burst What We Think The APX600 is a superb small-bodied electro- acoustic guitar. This model sports a spruce top and a nato back and sides. The guitar has a wide frequency range for such a neatly compact size. The crisp and clear tone is thanks to the spruce top, mixing with the new bracing system Yamaha has rounded the low end beautifully and created the best of both ends of the spectrum This is a great guitar for players at any level. It has a 25” scale length and narrow string spacing which means this guitar will play like butter on the lead lines but also has the quality build to let chords ring out in full force. The Rosewood fretboard improves the depth and warmth to the open mid-range up. All these features working in tandem make the 600 The pickup system on the APX has been designed to capture the individual elements of each string to give the most balances sound when plug into and amp or PA. And finally you get a 3-band EQ, volume control and a built-in tuner so that you'll never be caught without being in tune. The APX 600 comes in beautiful collection of finishes and truly is the cherry on the cake for this feature packed item that won’t break the bank Bury Store I was looking for a great acoustic that works well on stage or in the studio, I honestly can’t recommend this guitar enough the dynamic feel of the neck and the big tone from this guitar punches well above its weight price wise. I had heard they were bringing out this model and wondered what the new specs would be and how they would impact on this new model, the new model has a shorter scale neck making it even better than the old scale of 650mm the new guitar has 634mm making it much easier to play and pick higher up the neck. The pickup is very clear, punchy and allows for a great range of sonic control of your sound this guitar is capable of generating any sound thick or thin when plugged into an amp, simply beautiful. The spruce top is bright and responsive giving the guitar a great voice and allowing the player to mimic any style or genre with class and style Southport Store The Yamaha APX600 Electro Acoustic, Natural takes everything that made its predecessor, the APX500, one of the world's best-selling electro-acoustic guitars, and enhances it with incredible comfort and stunning aesthetics. Along with its thin-line body, the APX600 features a new bracing pattern to increase bass response and an APX oval soundhole for a thicker lower mid response. Its nato and spruce construction provides a superb tone, suitable for a variety of playing styles, while its rosewood fingerboard offers extra layers of depth and warmth. The Yamaha APX600 Guitar is also equipped with the stage-focused SRT piezo pickup and SYSTEM65 preamp, offering an incredibly dynamic performance with excellent tone shaping capabilities. Spruce & Nato Construction The stunning APX600 Electro Acoustic is constructed from a spruce top and a nato body, creating a beautifully traditional appearance and delivering a superb tone. The spruce tonewood is a common choice for guitar tops, offering a classic crisp, versatile tone suitable for a wide range of playing styles. Its powerfully direct sound retains its clarity when strummed hard, making it the ideal choice for players at any level. The nato back and sides provide a tonality similar to mahogany, offering a beautifully dynamic soundscape with a clear top-end and a warm character. The addition of a rosewood fingerboard provides the APX Acoustic with extra layers of depth and warmth, providing a sparkling high-end with an open midrange punch. SRT Pickup and SYSTEM65 Preamp The Yamaha APX is fitted with their SRT piezo pickup, which is designed to use the individual elements of each string to provide an incredible performance. Its ultra clean and ultra-wide bandwidth signal offers an incredible dynamic response, delivering captivating sounds with exception tonal accuracy. This pickup is combined with the SYSTEM65 preamp, offering a 3-band EQ, mid FQ, volume control, and inbuilt tuner to provide excellent tone shaping capabilities. The APX Series Yamaha’s APX Series provides players with an excellent performance, dynamic tonal options, and an incredibly comfortable design. The unique APX body thin-line body shape allows the acoustic guitar to hug close to your body,

Purchased the guitar and found it faulty straight away. Contacted customer service and explained. Guitar was returned and the technician put a video of him playing two or three chords, said it could be the lead, it wasn't as the problem was there on acoustic. He said he'd tried it just as an acoustic, probably only played the same two chords and said it was fine. Had it returned and noticed it was damaged on the headstock. The original problem was still there, I just asked if I could return it and get a refund. Just waiting for it to be picked up. Totally dissatisfied with the whole process. Lucy at customer service was quite helpful though. Waiting for my refund so I can try somewhere else

What great service from Rimmers music, the guitar is a lovely looking and sounding instrument, just only wish I could play it better, but hell it's so light and easy to handle and I would certainly recommend it to another beginner like me.

Absolutely love this guitar. Sounds great. The neck is very similar to my electric too. Thin neck with low action. Very comfortable to play. Definitely recommend it.

Bought this guitar for my metal head husband. He wanted an acoustic for a very long time, and he absolutely loves this. We haven't plugged it into an amp yet but it plays beautifully. Yeah colour is perfect. Rimmers were so good in price matching for me and very prompt. If you're looking for an electric acoustic this is it. Definitely buy from rimmers as well!
