Customer return. Shows some signs of being played but is in almost new condition. Boxed with all accessories. Packaging damaged. Grab yourself a bargain! Yamaha PSR-F51 Portable Keyboard It's the baby of the range but it's certainly evolved over the years. Now featuring a full sized 61-key keyboard (no mini keys thanks) it can be used and learnt on by anybody. You can even get great results if you're an accomplished player with 120 carefully selected sounds at your disposal. The Duo-Mode is great for playing either duets or for a teacher to show a student how to play something. The PSR-F51 is incredibly compact and lightweight which means that it can be easily transported to a school or university. Included are 114 accompaniment styles which contain genres from all of the world so you'll always find one that suits the music that you want to play. The panel is very intuitive and is colour coded so that you can easily and quickly select the sound and accompaniment style that you want. The keyboard includes a headphone socket for practice in private and included with a power adapter but also works on batteries if required. What we think... It is definitely the baby of the Yamaha keyboard range but offers so much for the price. Feature wise it offers more than is required for the budding musician - we're a big fan of full sized keys and the Duo-Mode is especially useful if the teacher wants to show you something and doesn't want to be leaning over to the other side of the keyboard to do it! Despite this being an entry level keyboard it's good to hear that the backing styles still sound orchestral and not 'robotic' as used to be the case many years ago. Barry, Blackpool Store The Yamaha PSR-F51 Portable Keyboard lets you take your music on the go. The 61 key design is ideal for student musicians who don’t require a full board, but want enough to develop their skills with. The function panel is easy to use and offers access to 120 voices for fun, interactive learning. The duo mode allows two people to play the same scale simultaneously, whilst the click metronome assists with developing your timing. The PSR-F51 has a slot for 6 AA batteries, allowing you to use it whilst on the move. This keyboard is ideal for student musicians requiring an entertaining platform to develop their piano skills. Simple and User Friendly Yamaha has designed the PSR-F51 to be as easy to use as possible. The controls allow you to navigate through the keyboard’s voices and settings quickly and efficiently. Through careful design of the interface and digital screen, the keyboard is easy to see in low lighting, making it ideal for gigging. In addition to pianos, keyboards, and many other classic instruments, the keyboard also features distinctive traditional instruments from all over the world. Powerful Sound In order to support performing in a wide range of different situations, the PSR-F51 has been equipped with powerful features for the most effective use. Combined with high-quality Yamaha voices, this allows you to enjoy the realistic sound of acoustic and electric instruments in addition to ethnic instruments from many different nations and regions. Metronome and Duo Mode In addition to a metronome for use when practicing, the PSR-F51 also offers a Duo mode, which allows two people to play together on the same instrument. This can be very useful when performing live and also during lessons. You can use the output jack not only to practice without disturbing others, but also to connect the instrument to a sound system when playing on-stage. I was after a good starter keyboard for my son but was unsure on how cheap to go but knew that Yamaha is a reputable make, so after searching I found the PSR-F51. I think it is a fantastic keyboard for a starter, plenty of effects to play with and the sound is extremely good.
