Input Monitoring ModeWhen connected to the RF Solutions RIoT HUB, the RIoT 4-Input Switch Sensor enables users to monitor up to four individual contact points in real time. Each input channel can be configured independently to report open/closed status through the RIoT Sense smartphone app or RIoT Wireless Monitoring web platform. Installers can assign custom names and alert parameters to each input, with optional email and SMS notifications for any state change or fault condition.
Direct Transmitter ModeWhen configured as a direct 868 MHz transmitter, the sensor operates without the RIoT HUB, sending instant RF signals to compatible RF Solutions 868 MHz receivers whenever an input changes state. This allows direct activation of relays, alarms, or control systems from external switches, pressure pads, float sensors, or contact closures—ideal for simple automation or fail-safe control across multiple points.
The 4-Input Switch Sensor provides multi-zone monitoring in a single device, reducing installation complexity and hardware cost. It’s designed for integration flexibility—each input can interface with external switches, limit contacts, or detector outputs, offering versatile monitoring for security, plant control, or building management systems.
