MAINSSWITCH is a 1 channel wireless switching system that allows remote control from a key fob to a 230V changeover output.
If an install requires a 230Vac switched output for lighting such as a garden or drive way light or even red and greens lights for a traffic light application; the MAINS SWITCH is perfect for remote light switching applications and for switching lights remotely.
Supplied ready to use with the ability to add extra transmitters or receivers to a system.

“My first experience of your product it works well and was easy to install it threw me a bit with the snubber circuit but a call to your tech support soon put me on the right track it would have been better had the removal of the jumper not needed taking off the pcb as the screws are tiny and being black a bit hard for my old eyes to see luckily my wife was there to pick them up for me just a minor gripe more to do with my age and eyesight but it seems a good product nice to see it uk manufactured.”

“I am very happy with the way the Mainsswitch overcame a challenge of controlling lights on a shed at the bottom of my garden. I think the strengths are: robust build quality equal to other reputable mains equipment; extendable in the future; remote control reliable over substantial distance; able to be used as part of two-way switching. One slight annoyance for me was that the documentation did not help me much when implementing two-way switching as a DIY-er and the help line did not clarify the way forward.”

Hi Mark, Thank you very much for your feedback — we’re really pleased to hear that the Mainsswitch has performed well for your shed lighting setup and that you’ve found the build quality and range to be strong. We’d just like to clarify one point to ensure everything is operating safely and as intended. The Mainsswitch system does not support two-way switching in its standard form, as it is supplied with an on/off latching keyfob only. For applications that require true two-way switching, our SwitchLink system is the correct solution, as it is specifically designed for that type of control. Alternatively, ordering a standard keyfob from our range would provide a momentary signal suitable for two-way operation. We’re sorry that the documentation didn’t make this distinction clearer, and that our helpline wasn’t able to fully guide you at the time. Your comments are genuinely helpful and we will be reviewing the documentation to improve clarity for future users. “This RF switch is a fantastic piece of kit. Comes very nicely packaged and includes 2 cable glands. The latching works perfectly and is easy to fit. Would definitely recommend this switch.”

“I needed a remote control unit so I could turn on an outside floodlight at night .The distance of my drive was about 50 meters .with this unit I was able to turn on the floodlight from the start of my drive Very happy also the technical chap was very helpful and polite”

“Good service. Sturdy unit with clear instructions. Uninterrupted line-of-sight operation only about 75m though, not the 200m claimed, so borderline for my application of remote area lighting.”
