“Expensive, yes, but I paid the same for the original Deus 8 years ago, and had my money's worth from that. It's well made, well packaged and has a real feel of quality about it. It has a few teething issues but XP are working these out and providing updates free of charge so all good there. Not really had chance to use it properly yet but I doubt it will disappoint having done well on my test bed. I like the 9 inch coil and unlike the Deus 1 ,I won't need to buy other coils as there is a wide frequency range available, so no more x35s and hfs as it all there as standard. Slightly trickier than the original to update but still well within most people's capability, assuming they have a Windows pc. My only real gripe is the size of the text on the screen/\headphones which is slightly difficult to read but other than that it's another great product from XP which complements my Minelab Equinox 800 perfectly.”
