“Keypad needed replacement on my Deus so ordered one of these, doesn’t come with any instructions so you have to use common sense, there’s a connection ribbon from keypad to circuit board so be careful opening unit slow and steady. If you are unsure contact Regtons or Google. It’s an easy switch and once done everything is perfect and your controller looks posh again. Parcel arrived next day great service as usual from Regtons. Well pleased.”

“I love how the Deus works but the flimsiness and great expense of some of the parts, the front pad being one example, really annoys me. The buttons don't work easily and eventually stop working altogether and there is no access so that a repair can be done. I wouldn't mind so much if this wasn't such an expensive part to replace. The fact that the remote isn't waterproof at all is a big drawback. If dampness gets inside then you have a big problem and the internals will probably have to be replaced. The flimsy coil charger attachment is a prime example of how XP don't have robustness in mind when designing the Deus. Similarly, I had a problem with a broken wire on the W5 headphones but fortunately, I was able to fix this myself, though they do not fold up anymore, which is what caused the problem in the first place.”
