“Great service as usual from Nigel and team at Regtons - new 5x8 coil delivered next day, along with a coil cover. Tried it out first on a very well tested site - our garden lawn! Had found a lot of items there before, amongst the usual abundant scrap metal. The 5x8 coil was amazing and felt like I had never detected there before - great separation of nice items right next to ferrous including a lovely small medieval lead token sitting right next to 3 iron nails. Recovery speed is also very impressive. Then tried the coil out ‘bravely’ at a rally last weekend, where everyone else had gone for the usual massive coils - the 5x8 did me proud and found some really nice finds including a lovely Napoleonic 2nd Dragoon’s button ID’d from just around the Battle of Waterloo, my first and very tiny silver thimble a very small medieval lead token as well as a lot of other nice items. All of these were pretty deep and very close to a lot of ferrous items which the 5x8 had no problem separating and also made pinpointing really easy. Don’t think I lost any real depth using the smaller coil, particularly since I was able to detect very close to the ground at all times, even in some thick stubble areas and within the tractor tracks . Thank you again for this great coil and will now be using this as my ‘standard’ coil for all detecting!”

“A big thank you to Nigel and team for great service, as usual! I am really pleased with the 5x8 coil I bought for my AT Pro, which was delivered the next day along with a coil cover. I have already used this on a much detected location - our garden - found a lot of new good signals, including a lovely lead trade token, and some really tiny finds at a good depth. Separation from nearby ferrous items is amazing, as is the very fast recovery speed. Didn’t notice any reduction in depth capabilities versus the stock coil and am really impressed with this new smaller coil. I am planning to now use it as my ‘default’ coil for all detection, including at a rally I am attending this weekend on stubble - am sure it will perform really well there and will allow me to detect difficult/impossible areas within the stubble, and also hard-to-reach locations such as in and around tree roots. Thank you again for this great coil and excellent service!”
