“My first detector and so far I have used it down the local beach four times using the MS mode for wet sand, works wonders. It finds stuff, tiny bits of metal, large pieces of metal, accurately. It is very easy to use with a number of settings but not too many that you get lost. Build quality is excellent. So far it has found about 100+ bits of rubbish and 7 coins as expected on a trashy beach. Oldest coin so far, 1916 George V Half Penny. Very pleased. The MS-3 headphones again are excellent. It connects to the detector straight away and it has only ever lost connection unexpectedly once for 10 seconds in 17 hours of use so far. Audio is clear and as advertised extremely low latency. They feel sturdy and are soft on the ears even when wearing glasses, didnt have any pressure pain issues I usually get when wearing head phones and glasses for long periods of time. Overall very happy with my new hobby thanks to the Ace Apex. Looking forward to my next outing. I may in future pick up a larger coil for the quieter wet sand further out and maybe a second detector like the C Scope CS4Pi for some variety.”
