“It does it's job, a bit of extra protection for the control box on the Apex. The Apex control box is already somewhat weather proof but detecting down the beach I want to keep it snug and safe as possible. Not overly impressed with the build quality of this cover though. The plastic window is a bit thicker than I expected and so is very reflective making it hard to read the display at times. This could be quite normal for all control box covers but I wouldn't know as this is my first one.”
