“I bought this on the recommendation of a friend as I had been thinking about buying a detector for some time. I did have a cheap and simple one many, many years ago which was more of a toy than anything else. Anyway, took the Garrett out for a trial run the other evening eith my friend on land he has permission for. Within minutes I was getting plenty of indications. Admittedly, being a farmer's field, many of them were old ferrous objects. Found a few old brass fired rounds and some aluminium 'cow tubes'. We also took along some old coins and things to play with and experiment with the discrimination settings. All in all, I believe I made a great purchase and I am looking forward to going out again soon. If I only find the odd old nail it still gives me great pleasure to get out in the open air and stroll around. I will be taking the grandchildren to the local beaches in the near future to see if they can find enough loose change to buy themselves an ice cream.”

“Hi I’ve only been detetectoring for 6 month or so i thought it would be hard to set up but no it was really easy and was out in the back garden within half an hour of getting the ace I’ve had lots of fun and even had some nice finds including a cartwheel penny and a silver ring which I found on the beach thanks regtons for your help and advice”

“Purchased the Ace 250 after many hours research. Arrived from Regton next day. On putting together I found the lower stem was very loose inside the top stem. Called Regton about the problem who assured me that it would not be a problem and this is how they are. I was not happy with this so agreed to return product as felt that with use the problem could only get worse. Regton were very good about it and gave me a quick full refund although it did cost me £13 to send item back.”
