“The Garrett Ace range is great for the beginner detectorist, who wants to "dip their toe" in the hobby to see if they enjoy it without blowing the budget. The control box is easy to operate and understand, the standard coil can be upgraded. Decent little machine for the money.”

Hello Rachel, I can see from the photo you sent us that you do indeed have the correct cover, they are a very tight interference fit intentionaly. Regards Nigel

“For £169 this detector really is great value. I have been very impressed at how deep and small some of the targets have been. I am sure you get more precise and detailed reads on more expensive models, but for under £200 this isn't bad at all. Definitely highly recommended for anyone starting out.”
