“Tight to fit at first but once on looks great- like the instructions say it is best to remove the strap clip when fitting. Only criticism is having open hole at end and not able to replace end if gets worn. Having said this the plastic is quite durable and protects the pinpointer from dirt and scratches.”

“I did find it a little difficult fitting the end cap cover over the plastic sleeve which totally covers the pin pointer at the battery end and its best to actually read the info you get with the product before attempting to do it off your own back like I did, as there are tips to help you. Before fitting the cover if you want the pin pointer model series number take the battery cap off slide out the 9volt battery and there should be a number printed on a sticker within the battery compartment. I did ask Regton where I might find this series number, so I could email the info to actuate the Garrett guarantee paper work that came with the product, Regton said that this wasn't necessary for this product purchased in the UK, but you should obviously keep your purchase receipt safe as proof of purchase if there were to be any issues with the product.”

“What can I say it’s a plastic sleeve that will keep pointer clean. Had to cut to make it fit and pierce a hole to attach cord ring. Not the best of quality For £8.00. Should come with pointer. But in business ever penny counts.”
