“This spade was recommended to us by our next door neighbours. They do not do metal detecting and neither do we. so I was a bit surprised to find it on this website. Nevertheless, the spade duly arrived and it is brilliant. Cuts through turf like butter; is making it much easier to dig up and separate tough-rooted plants like irises. Love it! Worth every penny.”

“Brilliant bit of kit. I am detecting on some very hard ground, and this spade makes really light work of it. Very sturdy and well made. Not the lightest of spades, but a great quality all the same. The serrated edges makes digging so easy. Highly recommended.”
