Highly recommended. A very high quality item as suggested to me by a number of experienced users. This looks like it could dig for England and is highly durable but its still liftable even when completely filled. I'm new to sand scoops but the feeling I get when the target is removed from the sand in the first try is priceless. No more hunting around for that missing item in a collapsing sand hole.

This is an extremely, strong well made scoop with excellent welding. I shortened a broom handle and attached a mid point grip. Weight is good, I highly recommend this.

I have to say this is not a cheap item but on its first couple of outings its really started to impress and I won't be going back to a spade anytime soon! Really well made of stainless steel, robust and of a decent thickness material. Slightly puzzling why these are sold without handles....but a standard broom handle fits and that seems to do the job. Region's do sell aluminium handles but these seem expensive for what they are.

Just in case anyone is reading this just a couple of corrections. Broom handles come in different diameters so check diameter first & secondly the optional handles we sell are all stainless steel, if you mix metals with scoops & then place in salt water you get an electrolytic reaction that will erode alluminium very quickly.

Very well built scoop. Joints are very strong. I should know as I have given it a good few days out digiging through wet sand and shingle without any problems. Bought the D shaft too. A little on the heavy side when all together but the advantages definitely outweigh the extra bit of weight! You do need to screw in a self tapping screw through the hole of shaft support into the hard rubber at the bottom of the shaft to stop the scoop from rotating. Which I have done and this make everything work perfectly. Worth the money even though it’s a little pricey.
