Whilst any spades, scoops or tools we sell are of the highest quality, we cannot guarantee against using the tool beyond their design strength. Anything has a limit & anything can & will bend if you go beyond that point. Please beware that any strength built into the design will be negated if you force it in the wrong direction. Welds are covered by warranty; however, over the last 35+ years, we have never seen any welds fail on any Black Ada, Evolution spades, or scoops.
If, when you receive the new tool, you are not happy to accept the above, please return the unused item to us for a full refund.

This spade is a well built, relatively light, pretty sharp digging machine !. I use it to dig with and pick up items I want to look at or sort out of the (mainly wet) sand I dig in. I can dig one handed with this. The foot bar at the top of the blade makes digging in firmer sand/clay/soil easier........even in crocs don't laugh. I think this spade will outlive me.....but not my crocs ;-)x
