“This spade is a well built, relatively light, pretty sharp digging machine !. I use it to dig with and pick up items I want to look at or sort out of the (mainly wet) sand I dig in. I can dig one handed with this. The foot bar at the top of the blade makes digging in firmer sand/clay/soil easier........even in crocs don't laugh. I think this spade will outlive me.....but not my crocs ;-)x”
