About The Red Dog Company:

The Red Dog Company was born out of the quest for well-designed, high-quality, dog beds and accessories.

Our dogs work hard, whether in the field, or exercising the children. When they’re not out and about, the chances are they are in their beds, so it seems only fair to make them as comfortable as possible.

Nick and Chris are field sports enthusiasts, and self-confessed gear obsessives.

“Delivery charge on £400 item?? No complaints re quality but a lot of shedding of the wool base”

Dear Rufus, Thank you for your review; honest feedback is how we get better. We try to be as transparent and consistent as possible with our pricing; we could of course not charge for shipping, but then we would have to increase our prices... Please don’t worry about the wool shedding. Being made from natural fibres, which are a variety of lengths, can result in a small amount of initial shedding when new - in the same way as a new wool carpet. This effect, which can be exacerbated by dogs ‘nesting’, should settle quickly and should in no way impact durability, or the look of the fleece. Please stay in touch and let us know how you get on. “I bought the Large Apple Green Luxury Dog Bed for my 15-month-old Labrador. He's past the chewing phase (fingers crossed!) and I wanted to buy him his forever bed. It was a considered purchase, there's no doubt it is an expensive dog bed, but it IS worth it. it looks fantastic and the dog loves it! As you can see from the photo, he pounced on it as soon as it arrived - he could hardly wait for me to get it out of the box! He curls up, lounges, and stretches out - upside down or right way up. One happy customer and a very happy Labrador. Thank you.”

“Large dog bed in tweed. This handsome bed keeps it shape, is hard wearing, soft and cosy! Our two greyhounds love it. It keeps them warm in winter and cool in the summer. The perfect bed! Wholeheartedly recommended.”
