“No probs with mcn compare. I have however got a problem with the insurance companies you recommend. It seems that if I pay by card they can then assume that they have the right to help themselves to money from my account the following year inorder to renew the policy. UNLESS i specifically tell them NOT to take the money. This is all in the small print. Lets get this straight ...if someone cons you out of money they are operating outside of common law. They are causing LOSS to another human being by bamboozling that person. What insurance companies are involved with here isn`t "sharp practice".. It is theft.”

“Start date: 21/05/2019 | End date: 20/05/2020 Vehicle Insured: TRIUMPH Level of Cover: Comprehensive Any Additional Cover: UK & European Breakdown cover inc. Homestart Web Reference: 560-171-396 I took out insurance online & paid by card, in full. I expected to receive policy documents online in the next couple of days. Today is June 18th.... no docs. I rang Carol Nash, they can't use the Web Reference. So the long process of name, address, post code etc etc..... "Hold on please I'll put you through to my supervisor"...... More waiting then, Somebody reads my email address back to me and it's correct. He'll send my documents by email that day. Sounds good! I wait a few days, nothing. I phone again after a couple of weeks. Another long wait and a chat with a bloke who sounds like he knows what he's doing, "Perhaps the guy didn't press send?" and, "Tell you what, I'll send by post as well, belt and braces!" Sounded good eh? Still no documents. They've had my money. I'm supposed to read the paperwork to ensure the cover is correct and I cant. Naturally I hope I never need to claim for anything, including the European breakdown...... But they've got my money and I'm not sure what sort of insurance I've got..... I remain unimpressed. If anyone from Carol Nash would like to contact me or even better send me my documents I'd be pleased!”

“Having taken out a policy for my victory one month earlier , I was disappointed when I tried to change it to another motor cycle , firstly I was told they had to contact the insurer as it was a lmtd edition ( bmw f800r Chris phi fifer) and they would call me with cost etc. Having waited a day no one called, I phoned them only to be told the same thing and so I waited another day still no joy . On the third day I called and the advisor was more helpful , and gave me a quote which I accepted , but then was told there was a 40. Pound admin charge . ! So I don't think carol Nash has very good customer service ,and won't be using them again. Stefan G .”
