“This has quietly become my go to coffee. It’s rich, balanced, and has a proper depth of flavour for a medium roast. If you prefer something lighter it might feel a bit full-on, but if you like a stronger cup, this is a very good one.
It works really well in milk drinks, which is how I tend to have it, but my partner drinks it as an espresso and I can absolutely see the appeal there too.
It is a bit more fiddly to dial in, mind. I’ve found it needs a slightly coarser grind. Too fine and it gets bitter in a hurry, too coarse and it ends up thin and acidic. Hit the sweet spot, though, and it’s a cracking all rounder.”
