“Approachable, but it stings. Bitter, slightly acidic, with a tropical (fruity) twang at the end. Not my tempo. Not well tempered with milk or honey or sugar. Not you're everyday morning brew; more of a humid, tropical climate, mid-afternoon brew - black and served with an orange/fruit that can soften the acidicty.”
“Brewed through AeroPress and enjoyed as a Café au Lait with a 16ml shot of vanilla (the way I drink every coffee), the Brazil Guima Estate Nº 303 was a decent and powerful medium roast.
I got the toasted notes on this and they followed through really nicely. Really on par for my experience of a Brazilian medium, this was just delicious, the sweetness of the coffee held the vanilla beautifully, and the malty, toasty finish did an amazing job of rounding it off.
To my taste it was a 4/5 and a great, balanced brew that hit the spot.
The coffee itself was fresh, well roasted and delivered quickly.”
