“Brewed through AeroPress and enjoyed as a Café au Lait with a 16ml shot of vanilla (the way I drink every coffee), the Timor-Leste Atsabe Nº 256 was quite light in flavour for a medium roast.
With tasting notes like lemon and pear, it wasn’t too surprising that it delivered a lighter profile, a coffee I’m sure would be delicious if drunk black.
To my taste it was a 1/5 and just didn’t hold up to my preparation, getting lost in the milk and vanilla. That will happen with some, but I was surprised to find it with a medium roast.
The coffee itself though was as ever fresh, well roasted and delivered quickly.”
We really appreciate the 5-star review Stuart and your thoughtful comments. Timor-Leste Atsabe brings a lighter touch to a medium roast, with lemon, pear, and milk chocolate notes that can sometimes be masked by added flavours.
We love that you’re exploring the subtleties—it’s what specialty coffee is all about!✨☕
